Sure, we get it. For many, a cold beer, a Mojito, or a patio cider is delicious on a hot summer day. But, for those trying to get healthy and reach body composition goals, alcohol can wreak havoc.

Enter mocktails.

Mocktails are a tasty, healthy substitute to alcoholic beverages –­ anytime! 

Here are some favourite mocktail ideas shared by RHN Jenny Soder.

Heck, even if you continue to enjoy alcoholic beverages, maybe you'll include any of these suggestions a healthy alternative to sugary mixes with all those additives.

Stay on Track with Mocktails

Fruity Cubes
Simply add sparkling water to a glass with frozen pineapple

Sparking Water
* San Pellegrino Essenza
* Zevia
* Bubly
* La Croix

Sparkling Immunity
* Flora Drinking Vinegar Elderberry
* Sparkling Water

Sparkling Digestion
* Flora Drinking Vinegar Lemon and Ginger
* Sparkling Water

When we're not guzzling down homemade kombucha, you'll find us whipping up this sweet thing...

Blackberry Mint Mocktail (serves 4)
8 fresh blackberries
1/4 cup raw honey
handful of fresh mint
juice of 1 lemon
1/2 cup water
2 cups seltzer

Using a shaker cup, blend ingredients together, strain, and pour over ice.

Garnish with mint and blackberries. Enjoy!
